As long as I can remember, music has fascinated me. From the moment my mom asked me if I wanted to learn to play the piano when I was 5, I was hooked.

The piano only lasted a few years, and then the violin (with a couple short and sad attempts at the trombone and the french horn), but with all of the different types of instruments I’ve learned, I’ve always adored singing.

These days my performances span classical stages such as the famed Carnegie Hall, Sossnoff Hall at Bard College, and The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in Manhattan as a member and soloist of choirs and ensembles, and smaller venues, such as Don’t Tell Mama, for my personal interpretations of rock music.

Or, you know, I dress up in a toy soldier costume for some Christmas Carols, or participate in urban projects such as the Mile Long Opera.

My favorite personal project to date, ‘Not The Queen You Know’, had a great five show run at the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival in September 2021 at Made On State!

The show is a deep dive into the songs of Queen and Freddie Mercury that you might not have heard, but I promise you want to!

Next show is on Tuesday, March 29 @ 7PM at The Duplex in NYC!

Last, but absolutely not least, my life partner, Christopher Whipple, and I are the curators and creators of “Fuck it, Yes!”, a YouTube series where we share our travels to find stories of courage and bravery great and small and the (mis)adventures we have along the way. Go take a look. You won’t regret it!
